Marine guideline – Gas detection

This document is meant to work as a hands-on guideline mainly for marine applications and to be a complement to other relevant SAMON documents. To fully assimilate the information in this document it’s necessary that additional instruction sheet for respective product is read in parallel.

This guideline includes recommendations for installation, alarm levels, settings, calibration and trouble shooting. These instructions are focusing on detector type GS24/230-HFC (room detector, splash proof) and GR24/230-HFC (safety valves).

These detectors can be installed as stand-alone units or in combination with monitoring unit LAN63/64 (sum alarm-panel).

These instructions are also suited for MPU monitoring unit + MP-series detectors.
